#This position requires the ability and willingness to relocate to an ASEAN country to meet business needs.Job ResponsibilitiesStrategically plan and manage sales, gross profit (GP), and operating income (OI) for the Fresh Food, Dry Food, and Non-Food divisions to achieve company goals.Control inventory for the Fresh Food, Dry Food, and Non-Food divisions in line with company targets.Manage inventory to meet the Days on Hand (DOH) goals set by the company.Monitor and achieve KPIs annually in alignment with company objectives.Lead negotiations and conduct market analysis for Big C’s international business.Manage and develop the team to enhance their knowledge and capabilities to meet company goals.Review product assortment quarterly.Strategically plan import items from overseas markets (e.g., China, Vietnam, France, and others).Manage and develop B2B business opportunities.Develop strategic trade plans for Big C’s international business. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience in retail or commercial management, including at least 10 years in senior leadership rolesProven track record in P&L ownership, strategic sourcing, and merchandising in the Fresh Food, Dry Food, and Non-FoodExcellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skillsResults-driven with strong business acumen and market insightsFluent in English, with excellent communication and writing skillsAbility to work across ASEAN countries and adapt to multicultural environmentsCore category experience preferred for this role :Fresh Food: Expertise in managing perishables like produce, meat, seafood, and dairy; cold chain logistics; supplier negotiations. (Must have)Dry Food: Experience with packaged goods, snacks, beverages; assortment planning; promotional strategy; inventory control. (Must have)Non-Food: Knowledge of household items, personal care, and general merchandise, seasonal merchandising.International Sourcing: Proven ability to import from markets like China, Vietnam, and France; customs compliance; cost negotiation.B2B Development: Strategic trade planning; institutional sales; partnership and contract management.Retail Operations: Days on Hand (DOH), and retail analytics.
