OverviewThe APAC Head of Communications is a key member of the International Communications Team, reporting to the International Communications Director (EMEA, APAC), and is responsible for all communications activity for the APAC region. This role is highly strategic in driving external and internal business outcomes.We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Communications to lead and scale our APAC communications efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced SaaS comms leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of developing and executing integrated communications strategies that support customer and revenue growth, and employee engagement.A company focused on AIIntuit is a global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for consumers and businesses around the world. International is organised into 3 regions for scale, EMEA, APAC, Canada/LATAM serviced from the International hubs of London, Sydney, Toronto. Our International business focuses on two main segments; Small Business and Emerging Mid-Market and the key channels that support them - Accountants and Agencies. The objectives of the International business are to bring Intuit's AI-driven expert platform to market for small and medium sized businesses.AI-driven expert platformToday, Small and Medium-sized businesses rely on a patchwork of tools to solve their most important problems. The variety of choices rarely translate to a seamless workflow — instead, customers are stuck with disconnected tools or overly complex platforms. Intuit can offer a differentiated proposition through the connected E2E platform that SMEs depend on daily to run and grow their business. Our connected platform will automate tasks that often impede cashflow, by helping businesses get customers and manage cashflow better while unlocking better decisions. This will be achieved through a suite of connected apps, delivering done-for-you-experiences, providing data driven insights, ability to “hire” AI agents that have fluency over tasks, workflows and jobs with the proactive counsel of a suite of live experts, putting a virtual C-suite behind millions of SMBs. This year, we will launch our done-for-you platform with AI and Expertise across both the QuickBooks and Mailchimp brands increasing the value we deliver to customers globally.ResponsibilitiesThe APAC Head of Comms reports into the International Communications Director, who is based in the UK in the London office. The International team is part of the Global Business Group Solutions Communications team which is part of the Intuit Marketing and Communications organisation.As The Business Transforms, We Are Looking For a Head Of Comms, APAC, To Lead Our Internal And External Communications Programme In The Region And Help Capitalise On This Opportunity. Based Out Of Our Sydney Office, The Head Of Communications WillOwn and execute APAC's comms strategy and planning across all products and channels on our platform over 1-3 year lensDrive workstreams focused on the corporate Intuit brand, and the business platform which includes QuickBooks and MailchimpDeliver the region’s external communications - building and driving PR, Organic Social, Influencer, Crisis, Thought Leadership, and Exec Comms plans. This work is in partnership with local marketing and execsDeliver the region’s Internal communications - building employee engagement, employee events and change management This work is in partnership with HR, and the local executivesManage the APAC Comms team, including our PR, social and influencer agencies and in-house internal and external comms expertisePlay an active role in the International comms team, partnering closely with leads in EMEA and Canada/LATAM to share and scale thinking across regionsLeverage Intuit QuickBooks and Mailchimp US and International best practices and assets to maximize EMEA marketing impactQualificationsWe are looking for a candidate that:Ideally has deep expertise and experience in Small Business, Mid-Market focused B2B commsHas demonstrated success in leading comms strategies, plans and execution that drives results across multiple APAC countries.Has experience of working in technology, ideally SaaS, as part of a global, matrixed organisationHas 15 years+ operating in communications, with both external and internal experienceProven track record in senior comms strategy at a matrixed tech company, partnering with officers and executives across all functionsIs able to build integrated communications with the channels they own to increase the impact of storytellingIs adept at operating on GTM leadership teams, demonstrating t-shaped leadership by excelling in their craft, while also being able to add value across the businessUnderstands how to partner and influence across the organsiation - particularly with marketing, government / corp affairs / HRHas a clear view on how to measure external comms to demonstrate impact in middle and upper funnelIs leaned in to AI - how it is disrupting our industry and how to take advantage of it in our professionHas experience partnering with stakeholders working in multiple time zonesIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
