Head of Contracts, Philippines (Renewable Energy Experience Required)A fast-growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Head of Contracts to lead all commercial, contractual, and compliance activities across its project portfolio. This is a senior leadership role overseeing end-to-end contract lifecycle management right from bid stage, negotiation, execution, to project delivery, ensuring the business is protected, compliant, and commercially optimised.Key Responsibilities:Contract Strategy & GovernanceLead the full contract lifecycle for development, EPC, OEM, O&M, supply chain, land acquisition, and partnership agreementsEstablish and maintain policies, frameworks, and templates for all commercial contractsEnsure contracts are aligned with local regulations, permitting, and renewable-sector compliance requirementsNegotiation & Commercial ManagementDrive negotiation strategies with EPCs, contractors, suppliers, and service providersAnticipate commercial risks and structure terms that safeguard the businessReview, assess, and negotiate claims, variations, and dispute resolutionsProject Support & Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner closely with development, engineering, legal, finance, and project delivery teamsSupport bid submissions, RFPs, and government/utility procurement processesAdvise leadership on contract risk exposure and mitigation strategiesKey Requirements:Minimum 8 years in contract management within the renewable energy industry (solar, wind, BESS, or hybrid systems)Deep experience with EPC, O&M, supply, and development contracts for utility-scale projectsStrong negotiation skills with a track record managing contractors in PH or APACSolid understanding of project development cycles, permitting, and regulatory frameworks in the PhilippinesLeadership experience; able to build and scale contract governance processesThis role is only open to candidates currently based in the Philippines.
