Head of Corporate Banking-Dubai

The Head of Corporate Banking – Dubai Branch will be responsible for driving corporate banking growth, delivering superior client experiences, and promoting Doha Bank’s corporate products and services across the UAE. The incumbent will formulate and execute market-specific strategies aligned with local trends and regulatory frameworks, in close coordination with the Country Head and Chief of Wholesale Banking . The role includes oversight of the corporate banking team, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and achievement of business targets.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with CCM to develop and implement strategic growth plans for the Dubai Branch.Lead corporate marketing and business development initiatives to expand client base, revenue, and market share.Monitor UAE market trends, regulatory changes (e.g., UAE Central Bank), and economic developments to inform strategy and ensure compliance.Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic and operational goals.Represent Doha Bank at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to enhance visibility and business opportunities.Support policy formulation for corporate banking in line with Doha Bank’s credit policies and UAE regulatory directives.Oversee the delivery and enhancement of corporate products and services in line with strategic objectives.Review and authorize credit proposals prior to submission to Risk Management.Manage the corporate loan portfolio within approved risk parameters.Identify and pursue opportunities in corporate, commercial, structured trade, commodity finance, and payments.Develop new products to increase profitability and market penetration.Monitor portfolio quality and implement early warning systems for risk mitigation.Lead benchmarking efforts to maintain competitive positioning.Drive annual planning for revenue, promotions, and operational budgets.Ensure service delivery within approved SLAs and maintain high standards of client satisfaction.Partner with Treasury & Investment teams to explore bilateral funding and cross-selling opportunities.Qualifications , Experience & Skills required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or related field.13–18 years in financial services, with significant experience in corporate/SME banking.Proven leadership in regional/global banking environments.Market awareness and business developmentStakeholder engagement and relationship managementCredit analysis and structuringRegulatory compliance (UAE Central Bank, AML/CTF)Product development and cross-sellingOperational risk and portfolio managementStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsProficiency in MS Office and MIS reportingFluent in English; Arabic is an advantageBanking operations, systems, and products
