Head of Corporate Development | FinTech/SaaSLocation | LondonNH14704The Business:Private equity backed FinTech and SaaS Platform providing end to end solutions for global financial services organisations.The Role Leading global M&A activities, with particular focus on the U.S and Europe.Driving origination efforts for strategic targets aligned to M&A strategy (geographic expansion, product enhancement, and client acquisition).Building relationships with bankers and advisors, as well as leveraging internal sources to discover white spaces and investment opportunities.Regular interaction with prospective targets.Management of all due diligence workstreams, ensuring a high level of commercial due diligence and strategic fit analysis is undertaken.Running all negotiations, valuations, deal structuring, and closing.Creating detailed value creation plans and working with the business to ensure adoption and value realisation.Working with the internal post-merger integration function to help drive integrations as required, ensuring their involvement pre-deal.Ensure regular detailed reporting and analysis is provided to senior management and the PE sponsor.Built robust and repeatable M&A playbooks, processes, and controls.As required, build the M&A team to ensure M&A targets are achieved.The Candidate:Significant buy-side experience gained from a similar corporate development or investing position.Prior deals experience in the FinTech, payments, capital markets technology, sectors.The ability to drive all aspects of M&A from origination to post-close value creation.The proven ability to run multiple transactions on an ongoing basis.High energy, excellent networker, and proven ability to get deals done.Willingness to travel for work as required.High EQ with the ability to connect with a wide range of founders, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
