Job Description

Moladin Finance is expanding its Property-Backed Financing product line, serving SME and individual borrowers using real-estate collateral. We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Credit Underwriting to lead and scale the underwriting function, ensuring robust credit quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across origination, credit assessment, and approval workflows.You will oversee a team of credit analysts and credit committee members, working closely with Risk, Appraisal, and Credit Operations to deliver high-quality, fast-turnaround decisions that balance growth and portfolio health.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end credit underwriting process for property-secured SME and individual loansEnsure accurate borrower assessment (5Cs, DSR/DBR, LTV, income validation, collateral verification, legal checks)Review and approve high-value or complex transactions within delegated authority limitsEnsure all underwriting complies with OJK Rules and internal risk appetiteCollaborate with the Risk Team to refine product credit criteria, scoring models, and etc. Lead, train, and develop a team of Credit Analysts and Underwriting OfficersEstablish SLA-driven underwriting workflows with strong quality control and turnaround time (TAT) monitoringCoordinate with Appraisal, Legal, Credit Operations, and Sales teams to ensure seamless handover and complianceAct as a voting member in the Credit Committee for large or exceptional exposuresReview risk exceptions, mitigants, and escalation cases objectively and consistentlyMaintain audit-ready documentation for all approved/rejected casesContinuously improve underwriting standards and efficiencyIdentify recurring portfolio risk patterns and propose structural or procedural mitigationsWork closely with Risk Policy, Portfolio, and BI teams to monitor early-warning signals (DPD, NPL, breach rate)RequirementsMinimum 8–10 years of experience in credit underwriting or risk management in multifinance, commercial/sme banking, or fintechStrong understanding of property valuation, legal collateral documentation, and credit structuringDeep knowledge of OJK multifinance regulations and risk governance principlesProven leadership experience managing a credit teamAnalytical thinker with attention to detail and the ability to balance growth with prudenceExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skillAbout MoladinMoladin is Indonesia’s leading mobility fintech platform with end to end financing solutions for all players in the used car and EV ecosystem.
