Find out more about working with us .Our schoolTallebudgera State School is at the heart of a welcoming local community, set in a picturesque rural environment just minutes from the coast.Our school is known for its supportive, collaborative staff and a community that activley engages in student learning and school life.Your opportunityThis position requires a specialisation within the role description of Head of Department (Curriculum) in the area of developing high-quality teaching and learning across Prep to Year 6, while performing all core responsibilities of the HOD-C.This position spans all learning areas and supports a systematic, school-wide approach to effective teaching.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain strong credibility through demonstrated teaching excellence, deep curriculum knowledge, and pedagogical expertise.Facilitate and coordinate professional learning across Prep-Year 6, equipping staff with the skills for low-variance, high-impact approaches.Apply sophisticated interpersonal, analytical, and strategic skills to lead change, inspire and engage stakeholders.Work as part of the school leadership team to support a systematic, school-wide curriculum delivery.Provide support and guidance to staff throughout all stages of the teaching cycle.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
