Head of Early-Stage Investor Relations

Posted: 9 hours ago

Job Description

We’re adding a new IR function focused on early-stage cheques (typically sub-$5m).Our team already handles relationships across a wider capital range - family offices, private investors, institutional, sovereign-adjacent - and we now want someone who can take full ownership of this specific ticket band. This isn’t a “build it from scratch” role. The infrastructure, deal flow and investor ecosystem are already active. What we need is someone with their own warm book who can plug in, expand, and move quickly. What the role looks like day-to-day:You’d speak directly with our partners and portfolio founders, choose the companies you feel confident representing, and bring the right people from your network into the conversation. You’d stay close to the investor through the process - first call, follow-up, conviction stage, commitment. And because we’re running a multi-region capital network (US, Europe, GCC, with Asia on the radar), you’ll be working across different investor profiles and mandates, not just one geography. What we think you’ll get out of this:Aside from the financial upside, people like this role because:you get access to a broad, established investor base and can develop your own relationships inside it;you operate with proper discretion - no blasting outreach, no junior pipeline work;you get autonomy and senior visibility;and if you consistently move capital, your role evolves fast. Who this tends to suit:Someone who:already has an active set of early-stage or growth investors (angels, FOs, syndicates, micro-VCs, private capital);is used to raising, closing, or introducing capital (formally or informally);communicates well in front of investors;understands the expectations of high-trust circles;and is comfortable working globally, not just in one region. If you’ve been doing capital introductions, raising for founders, or managing investor relationships and want to operate across a bigger platform .... we’d like to speak with you.
