Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Explosives Division to lead one of our key product teams within the defense sector. This role carries full ownership and responsibility for the development, implementation, and lifecycle management of explosive-related products and solutions.You will oversee a cross-functional team that includes Product Owners, Engineers, Analysts, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Customer Support, and other critical roles. As the Division Head, you will lead the strategic direction, define priorities, manage the budget, and ensure the successful delivery of products that meet the highest standards of safety, innovation, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Explosives Division;Own the full product lifecycle — from concept and development to production and deployment;Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team across R&D, engineering, analytics, production, support, and quality;Define and oversee the implementation of product vision, goals, and KPIs in line with overall company strategy;Develop and implement plant manufacturing capabilities to support future production operations;Manage the division's P&L, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation;Ensure delivery of high-quality products within scope, budget, and timeline including NATO STANAG requirements;Oversee certification, testing, licensing, and export control processes related to explosive products;Drive prioritization of initiatives, aligning business needs with technical feasibility;Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product updates, features, and improvements;Foster close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, including defense agencies and regulatory bodies;Ensure strict adherence to safety, legal, and compliance standards.Requirements:Proven experience in a leadership role within the defense sector, ideally related to munitions, explosives, or military technologies.Experience managing cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and commercial functions;Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from idea to delivery and optimization;Proven experience in plant manufacturing capability management and continuous improvement processes;Knowledge of NATO STANAG standards and defense certification/testing procedures.Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and business metrics;Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills;Strategic thinker with hands-on attitude and a strong sense of ownership;Experience with agile methodologies and modern product development frameworks;Fluent in English and Lithuanian (written and spoken);Degree in Engineering, Defense Studies, or a related technical/scientific field; advanced degrees are a plus;Experience with creating and introducing into the market military products;Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).What we offer:Unique opportunity to join a high growth company in the scaling stage.Opportunity to help Ukraine win.Flexible work hours.Frequent team-building events, free parking, pet-friendly office and private health insurance after the probation period, and of course the best and supporting team.Result based bonuses.Competitive salary ranges from 6 000 Eur (gross).
