Job Description

Job Responsibilities 1.Be responsible for the overall financial operations of the Japanese legal entity, including but not limited to full-process work such as general ledger management, accounts receivable and payable, payroll calculation, expense control, and tax filing. 2.Lead or deeply participate in the 0-1 establishment of the Japanese financial system (e.g., formulation of accounting systems, ERP system implementation, optimization of compliance processes) to build a financial framework that meets Japanese legal and tax requirements. 3.Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement), provide financial analysis to support business decisions, and coordinate financial reporting with the global headquarters. 4.Manage local tax compliance in Japan, including declaration and planning of consumption tax, corporate tax, etc., and collaborate with external auditors to complete annual audit work. 5.Participate in budget formulation and rolling forecasts, monitor budget execution, identify financial risks, and put forward optimization suggestions. 6.Liaise with external partners such as local banks, tax authorities, and audit institutions in Japan to maintain good cooperative relationships. 7.Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to solve financial-related issues and promote the efficient implementation of cross-departmental financial processes. 8.Ensure financial work complies with Japan's Companies Act, Tax Act, and internal company control requirements, and guarantee the authenticity and accuracy of financial data. Requirements 1.Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related majors, with solid professional knowledge of Japanese finance. 2.8-10 years or more of work experience in Japan, familiar with Japanese financial compliance requirements. 3.Priority given to candidates with experience in the 0-1 establishment of Japanese financial systems (e.g., financial structure setup for start-ups, financial process design for new businesses). 4.Language proficiency: Fluent in bilingual communication (Chinese + Japanese or English + Japanese) at a business level, capable of independently drafting financial reports and conducting cross-departmental communication. 5.Proficient in mainstream Japanese financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle). 6.Possess excellent communication and coordination skills, problem-solving abilities, and stress resistance, able to independently handle complex financial scenarios.7.Additional points for candidates with financial experience in multinational enterprises; priority given to those with financial experience in the TMT industry (Technology, Media, Telecommunications); additional points for holding a Japanese Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
