Find out more about METRO at careers.metroag.de.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Interface & AlignmentAct as the primary liaison between FSD portfolio companies and the central sourcing organization and facilitate contact to group suppliersEstablish structured processes and way of working between FSD Companies and METRO Group sourcing, Trading offices and other METRO entities as well as supply chain functionsSupport and facilitate FSD Portfolio company access to METRO assortment including common sourcing, own brand, trading offices and local METRO countries’ assortmentDrive profitability by improving competitiveness of buying prices and support FSD companies to build commercial USPEnsure alignment of local sourcing needs with central sourcing strategies and product portfoliosEnsure quick access to information on product prices and landing costsTranslate business requirements from FSD companies into actionable sourcing plansPortfolio & Category ManagementCollaborate with OMDs and portfolio category managers to optimize and complete product assortment for FSD companiesFacilitate METRO Own Brand growth in FSD companies and support building own brand strategy for FSD companiesSupport OMDs to identify gaps and opportunities in the current portfolio and propose improvementsSupport the development of sourcing strategiesProject & Process ManagementLead sourcing-related projects across multiple FSD companiesDrive harmonization of sourcing processes and tools where applicableMonitor and report on sourcing performance, KPIs, and complianceStakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with FSD company leadership, central sourcing teams, and supply chain functionsFacilitate regular communication and feedback loops between local and central teams, including FSD Portfolio ManagementRepresent FSD interests in central sourcing forums and decision-making processesOperational SupportSupport issue resolution related to product availability, quality, and supplier performanceEnsure smooth onboarding of new products into FSD operationsCoordinate with logistics and supply chain teams (MIS) to ensure end-to-end deliverySuccess MetricsFinancial benefit for FSD companies from leveraging METRO Group sourcing capabilitiesImproved alignment between FSD companies and central sourcingIncreased adoption of centrally sourced productsEnhanced sourcing efficiency and cost savingsPositive stakeholder feedback and collaboration effectivenessQualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain rolesSelf-starter with entrepreneurial mindset, we expect initiative and pro-activenessGood understanding of commercial priorities and strategic ambition; no silo thinkingStrong project management skills with a track record of cross-functional collaborationExcellent stakeholder management and communication capabilitiesAbility to navigate ambiguity and drive pragmatic, business-oriented solutionsExperience in FSD, foodservice or FMCG industry preferredFamiliarity with METRO’s central sourcing and supply chain processes and stakeholders is preferredFamiliarity with METRO’s own brand strategy, customer needs and sourcing processesFluent in English; additional languages are a plusAdditional InformationWork-life balance: Flexible working hours in agreement with your line manager, 30 days of holidays.
