Head of Growth 🌱🛠️Location: Bern (Switzerland), hybrid or remote. Regular traveling to Bern is required.Language: English or GermanJob: Full-time (80-100%)About usAt Boum, we make the world more sustainable and livable by empowering people to successfully grow and experience plants through the combination of technology and ecology. Together with the University of Bern, we developed a unique IoT plant care system (www.boum.garden). To date, over 1000 people grow and experience plants with our solution.Who we are looking forAs a Head of Growth, you will own the DTC user and revenue growth strategy for Boum. You will build on our current successful strategy towards internationalization and further growth. You will work closely with Product and Sales to design, test, and scale D2C growth across the full funnel.Your responsibilitiesFurther develop and implement Boum’s growth strategy across D2C channels.Own and optimize D2C marketing funnels, from awareness, to consideration, to conversion.Build and lead a small growth team and manage freelancers, and agencies.Design and run experiments: A/B tests, paid campaigns, landing page optimizations, automation flows.Design and track growth KPIs (CAC, CPA, LTV, Conversion Rates, Churn, etc.)Collaborate with management on channel and product launch strategies.Manage and optimize the performance marketing budget for ROI.Your profileExperience in Growth / Performance / Digital Marketing, ideally in a hardware or D2C startup.Strong analytical mindset; proficiency with tools such as GA4, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and A/B testing platforms.Experience in building and optimizing growth funnels and loops from scratch, including newest technologies such as AI workflows. You think in hypotheses and experiments and have a highly analytical approach.Hands-on, structured, and proactive attitude.Fluent in English; German a strong plus.An interest in plants and sustainable innovation.What we offerWe are a unique, interdisciplinary startup with extensive experience in biology, technology, software, and marketing.
