Job Description

Head of HR – This will be the organization’s first true HR leader. The client is seeking candidates based in the Charlotte area and is not open to relocation. The role requires being in the office at least four days per week.A major initiative in 2026 will be the redesign and rollout of the company’s benefits programs. In addition, the Head of HR will play a critical role in reshaping talent management and optimizing the global workforce structure to support continued growth and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipServe as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on all human capital matters.Develop and implement a global HR strategy that aligns with business growth, workforce planning, and operational excellence.Partner closely with regional and functional leaders to ensure talent initiatives support business priorities.Talent & Organizational DevelopmentLead initiatives to attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent across global locations.Build and implement leadership development and succession planning frameworks.Oversee performance management, learning, and culture programs that drive accountability and engagement.Compensation, Benefits & Total RewardsEvaluate and enhance global compensation structures to ensure competitiveness, equity, and scalability.Partner with Finance and business leadership to align rewards with company performance and market trends.HR Operations & ComplianceOversee HR operations, systems, and analytics to drive efficiency and data-based decision-making.Ensure compliance with international labor laws, HR policies, and ethical business standards.Drive process improvements, HR technology adoption, and scalable practices across the enterprise.Culture & Change LeadershipChampion the company’s culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and safety.Lead organizational transformation initiatives, including M&A integration, global alignment, and workforce modernization.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s or advanced HR certification preferred).15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including global or multi-site responsibility.Proven success leading HR in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments.Experience building HR infrastructure in a mid-market or scaling organization.Demonstrated expertise in organizational development, talent management, and compensation strategy.Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills across global teams.Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.Why This OpportunityJoin a respected, high-growth company with a global footprint.Lead the people strategy for a business that values operational excellence and employee engagement.Partner directly with the CEO and executive team to shape the next phase of global expansion.
