Job Summary The Head of Investor Relations (IR) is responsible for managing and enhancing the relationship between the bank and its investors. This role involves communicating the bank's financial performance, strategies, and outlook to investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. The Head of IR ensures transparency, builds investor confidence, and supports the bank's strategic goals through effective communication and engagement. Key Responsibilities Investor Communication: Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy. Communicate the bank's financial performance, strategy, and outlook to investors and analysts. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and dissemination of financial reports, including quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, and SERC filings and lenders. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders. Organize and participate in investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to investor communications and disclosures. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the investor relations team. Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or ACCA designation is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations, finance, or a related field, with a strong track record of managing investor relationships. Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements. Ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and analysts. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
