Head of IT Frontend Development Unit

Job PurposeTo review and monitor the new development and support of the Bank applications through proper analysis, planning, design, maintenance, supporting, and documentation to enhance the quality and applicability of application product in order to support the business needs. LocationHead Office, Phnom Penh (01 Post).Major Areas of ResponsibilityMonitor the analysis, design, development, and support of the Bank’s application to fulfil the user request or internal development. Prepare the timeline and flow of the development for submitting to the management. Oversee the design, testing, release, maintenance, and support of the application. Manage team activities through designing work schedules, assigning duties and responsibilities, and conducting performance review to maintain stable and quality work performance and uplift team productivity. Enhance overall application product quality and applicability for supporting business needs. Perform bug fixes and documentation as well as the maintenance tasks. Ensure proper tracking and listing of developed/supported application with the status of development/resolving phases. Ensure preparation of User Manuals and handling over to respective support teams. Keep proper documentation on the processes of development. Perform other tasks as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum three to four years of working experience with application development. Demonstration of leadership and team management skills. Strong debugging techniques with tools as chrome Dev Tool. Knowledge in advanced web development (HTML, CSS) Knowledge of the DOM and element manipulation. Comprehensive knowledge in TypeScript and Angular frameworks. Familiarity with CSS preprocessor (SASS) jQuery and TypeScript. Familiarity with animation technologies as CSS animations. Familiarity of reusable components and single page applications. Previous experience with git. Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new technologies. Ability to use and communicate effectively in Khmer and English.
