About IntergridHeat and steam are used in almost every industry for various purposes in various temperatures. Today, most of this heat is still produced by burning fossil fuels, making industrial heat production one of the largest emission sources accounting for >30% of all European CO2 emissions.At Intergrid, we are on a mission to make electrification and optimization of industrial energy use as easy and economical as possible. As industrials electrify and get exposed to the complex and volatile power markets, operating varying electric-hybrid systems with energy storages effectively exceeds human capabilities.Intergrid’s full-stack AI autopilot combines proprietary data and control layers with real-time decision-making to optimize industrial heat and steam production and power trading 24/7, safely and reliably.In two years, we’ve grown exceptionally fast from three founders with an ambitious vision (and an office in Olli’s living room) to an amazing diverse team of >30 people from different nationalities and a wide range of satisfied customers across multiple industries. Today, more than 70 industrial sites already rely on our services – and the pace is only accelerating.To accelerate our growth, we have also secured >10M€ in funding from top-tier US and Finnish investors such as True Ventures, Lifeline Ventures, Risto Siilasmaa, and the founders of Aiven. Still, we all appreciate the possibility to work remotely from time to time.About the roleWe are entering a new stage in scaling our business and impact in Europe, and are looking for a full-time Head of Operations to join our fast-growing team in Helsinki!You'll take full ownership of both the strategic and operational side of Intergrid’s customer operations. You will design the operating model that allows us to onboard thousands of industrial sites, while also leading day-to-day customer operations, customer experience, and the continuous development of our unit economics. This role requires someone who can think in systems, build product, processes and automation, coach a growing team, and ensure that every customer receives a consistently exceptional experience as we scale rapidly across Europe.This is a player-coach role. You'll lead a team of ~10 colleagues, but you are expected to also get scrappy and get your hands dirty. This is a rare opportunity to set the operational strategy and execution, and build high-performing operations from the ground up.
