Head of Operations – NW/ North Wales– DiagnosticsAbout the Company: We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager with a history of managing cross functional teams to join a leading company and their expanding site in the Northwest/ North Wales area. This is a site-based role.Responsibilities:Strategy development and execution.Oversee technical support for manufacturing.Build and develop a high-performing Operations team.Ensure full compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, MHRA, and support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.Lead and contribute to technical projects.Act as a key technical partner across Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders.Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning to maintain efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.Lead robust root cause investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.Champion a proactive Environmental, Health & Safety culture across the team.Requirements:Degree in Life Sciences or related.Significant experience in diagnostics, biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing technical support.Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.A good knowledge of immunoassays.Experience in continuous improvement, process validation and technical transfer.
