Job Description

Mission:Head of Operations (Senior Operations Manager) leads the end-to-end Operations function for Puig Korea, ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable operations that support business growth in close collaboration with brands & retail teams in Korea. This position oversees Supply & Demand Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and Regulatory Affairs at a strategic level — driving process excellence, inventory optimization, and strong governance. The role requires close collaboration and communication with Global and APAC Operations teams to ensure alignment with regional strategies, SAP implementation, and global standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Operations ManagementDefine and implement the overall Operations strategy for Puig Korea in alignment with global and regional objectives.Partner closely with the Country General Manager and local leadership team to integrate operational priorities with business strategy.Oversee all key processes within Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service to deliver best-in-class operational performance.Contribute to the SAP implementation project (Go-Live: September 2025) ensuring data accuracy, process readiness, and seamless integration across functions.Act as the primary Operations liaison between Korea and the APAC/Global Operations teams, ensuring transparent communication and process alignment.2. Supply Chain & Inventory GovernanceOversee demand and supply planning performance, ensuring reliable S&OP processes and cross-functional collaboration.Drive inventory governance, including inventory master file accuracy, stock health monitoring, and lifecycle management.Ensure effective control of slow-moving and obsolete items while supporting healthy service levels for retail and e-commerce channels.Promote data-driven decision-making through KPI tracking and regular reporting to local and regional leadership.Collaborate with APAC Operations to continuously enhance forecasting accuracy, planning systems, and best practices.3. Logistics & 3PL ManagementEstablish and manage the 3PL partnership framework covering contract negotiation, service-level agreements, and performance monitoring.Ensure operational excellence in warehousing, transportation, and distribution, with focus on cost efficiency and scalability for future brand expansion.Lead 3PL setup, process optimization, and system integration readiness for SAP and WMS connectivity.Oversee physical inventory control, inbound/outbound accuracy, and logistics data reporting.Build contingency plans to mitigate operational risks and ensure service continuity.4. Customer Service ExcellenceLead the customer service to ensure efficient order-to-cash operations across retail and e-commerce channels.Set service standards and performance metrics (OTIF, accuracy, and responsiveness) to deliver high-quality customer experience.Foster strong collaboration with Retail, Brand, Finance, and IT to streamline order management, invoicing, and returns processes.Serve as the key contact with regional and global customer service teams to ensure system alignment and consistent service processes.5. Leadership & People DevelopmentProvide strategic leadership and direction to the Operations team, including Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and Regulatory Affairs.Build a capable and agile organization through talent development, clear KPI setting, and performance management.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Encourage knowledge sharing and cross-functional partnership both locally and across the APAC region.Qualification:12+ years of experience in Operations / Supply Chain Management within the beauty, luxury, or FMCG sector in KoreaProven success in managing 3PL operations, inventory control, and SAP/ERP implementation.Strong understanding of S&OP, logistics network management, and customer service processes.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.Excellent communication and influencing skills in both English and Korean.Excellent team leadership skills.Assertive and effective communication.Exceptional attention to detail.
