We are looking for a Head of Physical Education for an International Secondary School in Zhuhai. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning in Spring 2026.About The SchoolThis is an international school based in Zhuhai, Since its establishment 12 years ago, it has sent a batch of outstanding graduates to the world's higher education institutions, including the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, the University of Toronto, the University of Hong Kong, the Australian National University, Berklee College of Music and many other world-renowned universities, the academic performance has been among the top, the students have won the highest honors in the world and China in the Cambridge International examinationAbout The RoleProvide strategic and instructional leadership for the PE department across all key stages, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, a safe and inclusive sport culture, and a vibrant co-curricular and competitive program aligned to the school's vision.Set PE vision, annual plan, and measurable KPIs for PE/Health & WellbeingLead PE curriculum design and sequencing across primary-secondaryRecruit, onboard, coach, and appraise PE staff; manage team schedulesTeach a reduced load to model best practice and mentor teachersDrive evidence-based pedagogy, differentiation, and common assessments with data-led interventionsPlan and deliver clubs, teams, fixtures; coordinate local/overseas tournaments with risk assessmentsBuild partnerships with leagues/venues; engage parents and celebrate student achievementsLead whole-school sport events (e.g., Sports Day, Swim Gala, Athletics Meets, Wellness Week)Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, first-aid readiness, and facility/equipment managementMaintain records and compliance with local regulations; contribute to wider school initiativesRequirementsTeaching licenseAcademic major must match the teaching subjectMinimum 3 years of relevant international teaching experienceMinimum 5 years of directly relevant experience, including leadership responsibilitiesBenefitsSalary and benefitsCompetitive monthly salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications and is negotiableAnnual housing allowance up to 80,000 RMBMedical Health InsuranceFully paid summer and winter holidayChristmas holidayAnnual travel benefitInternal promotionResidence and work permit sponsored
