You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.About The RoleAs Head of Regulatory & Safety, you’ll take the lead in shaping Reckitt’s regulatory and safety agenda across the Nordics – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Your mission? To ensure our business and external partners stay fully compliant with local regulations and global standards, while driving strategies that give our brands a competitive edge.This is not just about compliance – it’s about impact. You’ll own the registration process for all categories, partner with global teams to bring innovation to market, and make sure every product meets the highest standards of safety and quality. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert, influencing decisions, solving complex challenges, and ensuring our portfolio thrives in a fast-changing regulatory landscape.Your responsibilitiesLead all regulatory and product safety activities across the Nordics, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and Reckitt global standards.Develop and implement regulatory strategies in collaboration with global and commercial teams to enable timely product registrations and competitive advantage.Ensure ongoing compliance of the existing product portfolio, including marketing authorisations, promotional materials, and artwork approvals.Oversee and manage all regulatory projects and documentation for the Nordic markets, interpreting and applying relevant legislation and guidelines.Act as the primary interface with health authorities, trade associations, and key stakeholders to address regulatory trends, risks, and opportunities.Drive quality management processes, including GDP compliance, product recalls, complaint handling, and counterfeit prevention.Provide regulatory and safety training to internal teams and lead investigations into non-compliance, audits, and corrective actions.Monitor regulatory developments, maintain KPIs, and manage the regulatory budget, including registration fees and related financial planning.The experience we're looking forA university degree in a scientific discipline, ideally related to health, pharma, or life sciences.At least 6 years of experience in the OTC market within FMCG or pharmaceutical environments, with demonstrated ability to lead and influence Regulatory and/or Safety functions.Deep knowledge of Nordic regulatory and healthcare systems, including devices and cosmetics regulations.Strong track record in managing complex projects, resolving issues, and building constructive relationships with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders.Exceptional ability to prioritize, collaborate across R&D and non-R&D teams, and foster strong partnerships with external collaborators.Clear, logical thinker with excellent communication skills (English and a Nordic language), able to influence at all levels and deliver innovative solutions.Highly proactive, results-driven, and digitally savvy, with a strong commercial mindset and resilience in a fast-paced environment.The skills for successRegulatory Strategy Development, Product Safety & Compliance, Crisis Management & Issue Resolution, Stakeholder Influence & Negotiation, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Project Leadership & Execution, Risk Assessment & Mitigation, Healthcare System Expertise (Nordics), Quality Management & GDP Compliance, Innovation & Change Leadership, Digital Transformation & E-Commerce Awareness, Commercial Acumen & Market Insight, Relationship Management & Partnership Building, Strategic Decision-Making Under Pressure, Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization, Regulatory Intelligence & Trend Analysis, Training & Knowledge Sharing, Adaptability in Fast-Changing EnvironmentsWhat we offerWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
