This role will ensure that our brand, messaging, and revenue strategy consistently reinforce that mission.Position OverviewReporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Head of Sales & Marketing is responsible for converting CareerSpawn’s strategic vision into measurable revenue growth, brand expansion, and market penetration. This role oversees all sales, marketing, and go-to-market functions, ensuring that strategy translates into clear, actionable plans across acquisition, partnerships, customer engagement, and retention. The Head of Sales & Marketing will drive execution across both B2C and B2B segments while building the systems, processes, and team needed to scale efficiently.ResponsibilitiesSales LeadershipBuild and execute a revenue strategy for B2C subscriptions, partnerships, and enterprise/B2B channels.Design and manage the full sales funnel, from lead generation to conversion and retention.Develop scalable outreach programs targeting universities, career centers, workforce agencies, and professional associations.Track and optimize KPIs across acquisition, activation, and revenue performance.Marketing LeadershipOwn brand positioning, messaging, and performance marketing across web, social, email, and paid platforms.Lead customer segmentation, lifecycle campaigns, and conversion optimization.Oversee content strategy including thought leadership, product education, and social presence.Manage marketing analytics and use data to drive continuous improvement.Cross-Functional ImpactPartner with Product to align features, user insights, and go-to-market timing.Collaborate with Customer Success to support adoption and reduce churn.Build and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team as the company scales.Qualifications7–12 years of experience in sales, marketing, or growth leadership, preferably in SaaS or consumer apps.Demonstrated success building multi-channel acquisition and revenue strategies from the ground up.Expertise in performance marketing, CRM systems, funnel management, and data-driven decision making.Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate product value to diverse audiences.Startup or early-stage experience strongly preferred.Ability to operate hands-on while building for scale.EducationBachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred but not required
