What You’ll Be Doing: Responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for the Japanese market, focusing on the commercialization of new drugs, market expansion, and revenue growth. This role requires strong market insight, excellent team leadership, and performance-driven capabilities to succeed in a competitive and highly regulated industry environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective sales strategies based on company objectives and the local market environment in Japan.Lead and manage the national sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded.Identify and expand market opportunities and sales channels for new drug products.Collaborate closely with departments such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory to ensure alignment with overall business strategy.Regularly provide sales forecasts, sales pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales team members.Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, medical institutions, and channel partners.Continuously monitor market trends, competition, and pricing strategies to ensure a competitive advantage in the market. Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.Proven success in launching new drugs and achieving sales targets.Familiarity with the operational model, regulatory environment, and channel structure of the Japanese pharmaceutical market.Exceptional leadership, communication, and talent development skills.Strategic thinking and execution ability, with the capability to drive growth in a dynamic environment.Fluency in Japanese and English, with cross-cultural communication and management skills.A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field is preferred, with an MBA being a plus.
