Through this, they have created an amazing culture of collaboration and true alignment of values evident from their consistently extremely high eNPS of 70+ and average retention of staff of more than 5+ years.Known for their premium high-quality brands, customer focused mindset and great reputation, this organisation is a prominent industry brand across the region. With double digit revenue and EBITDA growth, this organisation has doubled in size over the last 3 years and have experienced consistent year on year organic and acquisitive growth and has a strategic vision to continue this growth in the coming years. Within the next 3 years, they have plans to double in size. Due to this strategy a brand-new role has been created for a Head of Sales to work as part of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO.ABOUT THE ROLE:Reporting to an entrepreneurial and highly influential CEO, this Head of Sales will support the delivery of major sales, growth and profit objectives as the organisation aims to continue its aggressive growth journey. The Head of Sales will act as a true partner and 2IC to the CEO, board and Executive Leadership Team to provide ongoing strategic growth, leadership, business development and transformation.As the Head of Sales, you will take full ownership for developing and executing on a strategic sales roadmap whilst championing the cultural values and heartbeat of this organisation as well as developing and mentoring the team. This is a critical role to assist in driving the business through its aggressive hyper-growth ‘expansion phase’ whilst implementing best practice processes and procedures throughout the sales function. You will act as the “confidant” and “right hand person” to the CEO and executive leadership team. Critical to the role will be developing a vision for superior service across the organisation, driving the performance of the team and taking them out of their comfort zone.You will have the luxury of bringing your own individual strengths to this role which will empower you to dive into the deep-end and do what is necessary to succeed. You will thrive in a flexible and diverse environment that craves leaders to improve the way things get done with a collaborative, team based, can-do attitude.This role not only requires an excellent technical mind but also someone that can think outside of the box and not be afraid to challenge the status quo.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Reporting to the CEO and working in partnership with the executive leadership team and advisory board, your key responsibilities as the Head of Sales will include:Act as a true 2IC and partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to deliver organisational sales, growth and profitability targets;Leadership – lead, manage, inspire and nurture the sales team, developing meaningful performance management and development plans;New Business Development - develop strategy for each channel, build call and visit plan, and develop pipeline for each channel, quantifying the potential of each channel and therefore the priorities;Develop sales offer and approach for targeted new business in conjunction with the marketing team and sales managers;Implement and maintain pipeline management system and reporting;Develop great relationships with the aim of converting prospects to customers to grow sales, delivering a high level of customer service at all times;Growth of existing customers - develop annual budgeted sales and EBITDA results in conjunction with the finance team and sales managers;Ensure existing national accounts comply with all their contracted requirements;Work with the Executive Team to drive cultural alignment across the business as they integrate new businesses into the organisation and bring to life the organisation's purpose, values and culture.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:You are an experienced and proven sales executive with a track record of success in sourcing new business and growing existing business ideally from an FMCG/Consumer Goods environment selling into similar customers, building and executing a strategic plan. You are a collaborative and empowered leader that will bring to the role strong commercial acumen, vision for growth, and a passion for best in class processes. You will ideally have strong relationships across some of the prospective customer base in the following channels - Cafes & Restaurants, Corporate (Caterers and Offices), Hotels, Conference & Convention Centres, Casinos, Pubs, Clubs & Gaming, QSR, Petrol & Convenience and Retail.You have a track record of adding value through an absolute understanding of key business drivers; the capacity to drive change; and the ability to influence performance.You have a burning desire to step change your career into a fast growth and highly strategic executive leadership sales role where you can truly make a difference and own the entire function working in an organisation that is extremely successful and leading well above the industry.Beyond a high performance and outstanding career profile across blue chip organisations, you possess a broad range of industry experiences. This is currently a mid-large sized business which will in the next 2-3 years, be a relatively large business, therefore, you must display the hunger, energy and drive that you are willing to be hands-on, not afraid of a challenge whilst having the gravitas to communicate and influence an impressive Executive team and Board.Culture fit is key, our client is a high growth business. The Head of Sales needs to have immediate credibility and be able to earn the trust and confidence of the CEO, COO, the Board and the executive leadership team. They will demonstrate proven commercial acumen and strategic thinking supported by a high level of competency in sales management.
