ABOUT THE ROLEA top-tier media agency in the UAE is looking for a Head of Social Media to lead their social media division across key Government and Semi-Government clients. This is a senior strategic role, reporting directly to the CEO and top leadership, overseeing a high-performing team, and driving best-in-class social media delivery across multiple platforms.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead the end-to-end social media strategy, planning, and execution across major Govt/Semi-Govt accounts.Manage and mentor a team of Social Media Managers, Content Specialists, and Community Managers.Act as the senior client partner - ensuring all social deliverables, campaigns, and communication meet the highest standards.Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to shape the overall social offering and improve performance, processes, and innovation.Oversee content calendars, real-time coverage, analytics dashboards, and full-funnel social campaigns.Ensure all social output aligns with cultural, linguistic, and brand guidelines—particularly for Arabic-first content.Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic counsel and proactive thinking.REQUIREMENTSMandatory: Fluent Arabic speaker & UAE experience. 7–12 years of experience in Social Media within a media/creative/advertising agency in the UAE.Solid experience leading and servicing Government or Semi-Government clients.Proven team leadership experience—with the ability to coach, motivate, and scale teams.Strong understanding of platform trends, content performance, data analytics, and paid/organic ecosystems.Confident, strategic communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.WHY THIS ROLE?Join a respected agency trusted by major national institutions.Lead large-scale, high-impact social programs seen at a national level.Work directly with executive leadership while shaping the agency’s social vision.Competitive compensation and career growth opportunities.
