About Us - The Social Shepherd 🐑We're a Social-first agency helping global brands, household names, and high-growth scale-ups accelerate their business growth.Our service offering includes:Social Media Management Paid (Social & Search)CreativeInfluencerStrategyWe’re a team of 70+ across Bath, London, New York, and Miami, with big ambitions. The Role:You’ll oversee our Organic Social and Influence departments globally (UK & US), leading a team of talented Directors across organic social media strategy & management, and influencer/creator partnerships. As part of the SLT, you’ll set the vision for how we deliver industry-leading organic and creator-led work, while driving innovation, growth, and new business opportunities for the agency.Responsibilities: Leadership & DeliveryLead and manage a team of Directors across Organic Social and Influence, setting high standards and clear direction.Act as a senior strategic partner on flagship accounts, ensuring delivery that is innovative, effective, and measurable.Work closely with the CEO and wider SLT to align departmental strategy with agency-wide goals.Innovation & GrowthIdentify and launch new services within Organic Social and Influence, ensuring we stay ahead of cultural and platform shifts.Drive commercial growth - leading pitches, shaping proposals, and building trusted client relationships.Own departmental revenue and profitability targets, working with Directors to deliver consistent growth.Industry & CultureRepresent the agency externally - speaking at events, sharing thought leadership, and building our reputation as a trusted industry voice.Inspire and develop future leaders across Organic Social and Influence, creating a high-performing, motivated team.Champion a culture of creativity, innovation, and curiosity across your departments and the wider agency.What you’ll bringSenior-level experience across organic social and influencer/creator partnerships, ideally within an agency environment.Proven success leading Directors or senior managers and building high-performing multi-disciplinary teams.Commercial strength - confident in owning department P&L, pitching, and driving revenue growth.Sharp cultural and platform understanding, with a vision for where social and influence are headed next.An unquestionable passion for our craft and a motivated energy to create best-in-class work.Compensation: £95,000 + DOE
