Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Solar Operations based in Lagos, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Head of Solar Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end operations of solar projects, including planning, implementation, and optimization. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing budgets, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The individual will also develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability within the organization. Qualifications Expertise in project management, operational planning, and team leadershipTechnical knowledge of solar energy systems, renewable energy solutions, and installation processesProficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocationStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work in a hybrid model with both on-site and remote tasksA degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications in energy management are a plusExperience in the energy sector, particularly in managing solar or renewable energy projects, is highly desirable
