Head of Tax

Placement: North JakartaStatus: PermanentJob Description:Tax Planning & StrategyDevelop and implement short-term and long-term tax strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.Provide strategic insights to management on tax implications of business transactions, investments, and expansions.Conduct tax risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation plans.Tax Dispute & Audit ManagementLead the resolution of tax disputes, including audits, objections, appeals, and litigation processes.Coordinate with external tax advisors, legal counsels, and tax authorities to achieve favorable outcomes.Prepare strong documentation to support tax audits and disputes.Compliance & ReportingEnsure full compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations, covering Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, and other relevant obligations.Supervise accurate and timely submission of monthly and annual tax filings.Establish and enforce internal tax policies to strengthen compliance.Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a tax team in a complex organizational structure.Act as a strategic partner to the CFO/Finance Director and other senior stakeholders.Provide clear communication and alignment across departments on tax-related matters.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance (Master’s degree preferred).Certified in Brevet A,B, and C.minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in taxation with proven expertise in tax disputes and tax planning.The candidate is required to demonstrate fluency in English, both written and verbal. (Fluency in Mandarin will be a big plus)Background in:Multinational corporations, publicly listed companies, or large-scale organizations (with thousands of employees).Industries such as logistics, transportation, e-commerce, or retail companies with complex transactions (preferred).Strong track record in handling large-scale tax audits and successfully resolving significant disputes.Deep knowledge of Indonesian Tax Laws, PSAK, IFRS, and updated regulations.Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing sizable teams.Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.Budget: Rp. 100,000,000 - Rp. 130,000,000 (Gross)
