Health, Safety and Sustainability Coordinator

As a Health, Safety and Sustainability Coordinator at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you are part of a team responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring health, safety and sustainability programmes. In this role, you will play a critical part in fostering a culture of environmental responsibility among staff and guests. If you're looking to develop your skills and be part of a legacy of luxury, this is your moment.Primary Responsibilities Include: Developing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and national regulations. Regularly reviewing and updating policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and best practices. Performing safety audits, documenting findings from risk assessments and tracking corrective actions. Providing training and support to staff on health and safety practices and protocols. Assisting in the development of sustainability initiatives and programs and identifying opportunities for improvement. Engaging staff and guests in sustainability efforts through training, awareness campaigns and community outreach programmes. RequirementsWhat You Bring: Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK. Previous experience in a similar role advantageous. Relevant management or field/industry-related diploma or degree. Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative. Exceptional communication, administrative and time-management skills. Working knowledge of MS Office - data entry experience helpful.
