As part of our engagement services for ADAMS clients, they will manage and generate medical equipment placement drawings using REVIT. The Healthcare BIM Planner is responsible for delivery of these services, ensuring client satisfaction and making sure the drawings are complete and accurate. The BIM Planner has responsibility to ensure that assigned engagements and assigned tasks adhere to processes and policies as defined in the ADAMS Standards of Practice Manual.Core ResponsibilitiesWork Product Creation, Project Management, Coordination with Team MembersManage and generate medical equipment placement drawings using REVITBuild REVIT families for medical equipment and systems, while utilizing our proprietary planning software and referencing manufacturer specificationsAbility to run medical equipment BIM kickoff and client meetings without the help of the BIM manager.Incorporate and coordinate updates from review of equipment lists, manufacturer documents and redlined drawingsConvert, upload and download files for distribution to internal team, design and construction teams and vendorsSuccessfully, and professionally, interact with architects, engineers, equipment manufacturers, contractors as well as client users and administratorsEnsures team members adhere to policies, procedures, and standards for project planning and managementEnsures their teams projects maintain profitability within R&B guidelines.Reviews business processes and recommends specific process improvements, including developing and maintaining best practice guidelinesOperationsBe aware of and perform own tasks in a manner that supports the organization’s vision and defined business objectivesConduct self and prioritize tasks to work toward achievement of defined profit objectives of assigned projectsCooperate in construction of strong cross-functional teams (support staff assignments of self) to achieve success in shared goals, understanding that multiple perspectives and talents build stronger teams and resultsComplete daily tasks consistent with contract requirements and proactively alert assigned manager to any potential challenges or issuesEnsure compliance of operations with all local, state and Federal (and International, if applicable) regulations, as well as compliance with company policyEnsure consistent high quality on deliverables for all individual work productOther duties as assignedQualifications & CompetenciesBachelor's degree required with a concentration Architecture or EngineeringMinimum three to five years’ experience in in producing graphically correct drawings for healthcare projects using REVIT.Knowledge & SkillsExpert knowledge of REVIT in a related field (knowledge of setting up models from scratch, able to build and update parametric families) and expert knowledge of medical equipment and layouts with an understanding of complex design and construction terminology.Knowledge of Revit add-ons.Demonstrates excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (especially Word, Teams, OneNote and Excel), as well as Bluebeam and AutoCAD.Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders.Ability to demonstrate independence, initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasking.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, consultative skills and conflict resolutions abilities.Excellent time management and organizational skillsMust have current driver's license and be insurable to travel by car, as position requires occasional travel.Additional InformationThe annualized salary range for this role is $75k-$90k.At VERTEX, we invest in top talent with a highly competitive total compensation package designed to reward performance and support long-term success.
