Company Overview: Polynomial Partners is a quantitative hedge fund manager specializing in algorithmic trading strategies across global financial markets. The firm implements multiple systematic strategies created with robust quantitative research methods developed by the founding investment team over decades of prior work experience.Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Controller with a specialization in Fund Accounting and Operations. The individual will be a part of a start-up environment and will have exposure to many areas involved in administering and managing a hedge fund business. He or she will have immediate real business impact and will form a part of the core business unit with a wide range of responsibilities. We are currently seeking multiple FTEs for this role, and candidates outside of Singapore are encouraged to apply if given the relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:Primary responsibility for reconciling fund monthly NAVs to external Fund Administrator, tying out valuation, P&L, fees, expenses, and investor allocationsAssist with reconciling Fund positions, NAV’s, P&L, and cash on a daily and monthly basis to aid in NAV preparationLiaise with investment team and other stakeholders regarding P&L booking and allocationCoordinate annual audits with the Firm’s external auditorsManage accounting operations for multiple group entities, including invoicing, bill payment, cash reconciliation, and budgetary controls Prepare and organize financial analyses of operations, including accounting statementsAssist in managing the firm’s tax affairs and responsibilities globallyQualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Major.
