This includes supply scheduling logistics, communication with shippers, agents, inspection companies, counterparties and other internal and external stakeholders. This position is at principal level in Equinor which requires experience in cargo, shipping and terminal operations for LNG trading and will report to OPS leader.You are utilizing your operational knowledge to independently solve complex tasks with a short-term operational or tactical impact/risk. You deliver on tasks with significant impacts on team objectives. You independently communicate within the immediate team incl. traders, across different operating locations, and towards key stakeholders, including partners or other external parties. You adhere to established procedures and identify as well as resolve challenges. You proactively seek continuous improvement, embrace change and ambiguity. You demonstrate flexibility to adopt new activities and ways of working and take ownership of your own work. You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values.What will my tasks be?Within This Position, Your Key Tasks Will Be ToAdminister and optimize sale and purchase contracts to ensure that cargo deliveries meet contractual obligations, responsible for delivery and redelivery of vessels and fulfilling time-charter requirements.Manage and optimize the transportation of LNG in the energy portfolio, efficient flow assurance and optimization together with traders, charterer, shippers and terminals.Coordinate and facilitate ship-shore compatibility studies for LNG ship / terminal acceptance.Participate and provide support in ADP discussions with Equinor’s contract partners.Stay updated on market and industry trends, regulatory requirements incl. sanctions.Responsible for correct, timely updates of relevant operational and reporting systems.Participating in the on-call duty system within the operation team.Here's What We Expect From YouAt Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential. And for this specific position, we are also looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Economics, Logistics or related disciplines.Minimum 5-10 years operational experience in managing LNG cargo- and shipments.Strong knowledge of LNG contracts and instrumental in adding commercial value through optimizing and operationalising the contractual framework.Experience from trading operations from an oil company, trading house or shipping is an advantage.Familiar with using IT technology, IMOS voyage system and Plan Logic is an advantage.Proficiency in English language is required; Mandarin, Japanese, Korean is an advantage.Personal QualificationsHigh ethical awareness and integrity, and with focus on safe operations and HSE.Proactive, flexible and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Capable to work under pressure and tight deadlines, agile and efficient working attitude.Commercial mindset with proven track record in delivering value add to the P&L.What can we offer you?We want you to have a rewarding and fulfilling work life.
