As a manufacturer of high quality, high performing eyeglass lenses, we continuously aim to bring the best possible vision care solutions to eye care professionals.We are currently hiring a Help Desk Specialist to work in our Mississauga, Ontario facility!Pay rate: $55K+Shifts Available: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pmWhat’s in it for you?- Health/Dental/Vision Insurance- Tuition Reimbursement- RRSP Matching- PTO and Paid Holidays- And more!What you’ll do:- Ensures smooth operation of existing networks in all locations .- Provides helpdesk support to internal users across Canada.- Liaise with external suppliers/vendors to ensure that external resources meet the needs of the business.- Provides emergency (on-call) support to end users as required.- Maintain expert knowledge of Enterprise system (DVI), proving Subject Matter expertise to staff as needed.- Responsible for routine reportingQualifications:- 2 years of hands-on operational experience with Win 2016 Server and newer, Win 10/Win 11, DOS. 2 years Windows networking and connectivity.- 2 years of hands-on experience with Android/iOS devices- 2 years of Windows networking and connectivity.- 2 years of experience in laser printers setup, troubleshooting and repairs.- 2 years of experience in remote support.- Post-secondary degree- CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent
