As a Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction and marine-related projects by assisting skilled workers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.Set up tools, equipment, and materials at work sitesAssist carpenters, fitters, masons, and other team members as requiredOperate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment or machineryCarry out tasks assigned by immediate group leaders and foremenSupport the storekeeper in organizing and managing material stockClean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas after each shiftPerform tasks in various environments, including near shorelines and in confined spacesAdhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Contribute to accident prevention by maintaining a clean and organized work environmentFollow instructions from immediate supervisors and work collaboratively with team membersAssist in the completion of projects by performing various support tasks as neededQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in construction or marine-related work in the UAEOverall 5 years of experience in a similar fieldProficiency in using hand tools and power toolsStrong physical stamina and ability to perform manual laborBasic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow safety protocolsExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyFlexibility to work in various weather conditions and environmentsGood organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work areaCollaborative mindset and willingness to support team membersBasic English language skills for effective communicationSwimming skills (preferred)Knowledge of rigger or fitter helper duties (preferred)Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlinesWillingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
