Job Description

OverviewThe Plant Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes within the manufacturing plant meet internal, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This role involves process development, data analysis, audits, and continuous improvement to support operational excellence and compliance in a Saudi industrial environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and documentation for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished productsConduct inspections and tests according to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure all quality documentation is up to date and compliant with project and regulatory requirementsCollect, analyze, and summarize process and product data; prepare and submit regular quality reports to senior managementLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action teams to resolve quality issues related to customer complaints, supplier non-conformance, and internal production problemsParticipate in internal and external audits, and follow up on non-conformity reports to ensure timely closure and continuous improvementReview and update quality assurance procedures, work instructions, and operational policies to align with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards3.

Monitor calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standardsTrain plant staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices to promote a culture of quality and safetyCoordinate with procurement, engineering, production, and logistics teams to address quality issues and ensure seamless operationsEnsure compliance with Saudi health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as industry-specific standardsQualifications And SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field)Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment in Saudi ArabiaStrong knowledge of quality management systems (e. g.

, ISO 9001), statistical process control, and root cause analysisExperience with quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, and SPC is highly desirableProficiency in data analysis, report writing, and use of Microsoft Office and quality management softwareExcellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills; fluency in English required, Arabic is an advantageStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressureKnowledge of Saudi regulatory compliance and industry-specific standards is a plusWe OfferOpportunity to work for the global leader of above ground fuel storage industry and develop your career further Ongoing industry training and certifications i. e. health and safety etc.
