You'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality, compassionate, person-centred care to clients in their own homes while leading and supporting a dedicated team of Caregivers.The position is open to Nurses and Managers, ideally with a background in Homecare, Community Care, or Elder Care. We're looking for someone who's highly organised, an excellent communicator, and ready to lead and drive the implementation of our strategic vision and goals.What We OfferCompetitive salaryManagement training and progression opportunitiesTravel allowanceWeekly payEmployee service awards programmeEmployee assistance programmeTeam building eventsAnd much moreResponsibilitiesLeadership & Service DeliveryOversee the day-to-day operations of homecare services in the Laois areaPromote the highest standards of care and service, ensuring quality standards are maintained in line with Company, HSE, and HIQA requirementsProvide strong leadership and support to our Healthcare staff, fostering a positive and professional working environmentLead the implementation of our strategic vision and goalsClient & Stakeholder ManagementDevelop and manage relationships with Clients, HSE, Public Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and the home support officeCoordinate Client care plans and ensure they're delivered effectivelyEnsure all homecare packages are filled on a timely and ongoing basisWork closely with senior management and the HSE, reporting directly to the Managing DirectorStaff Management & DevelopmentSupervise and support a team of Caregivers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver excellent careManage the Administrative and Care staff delivering Homecare servicesWork with HR to manage the recruitment processEnsure the delivery of all staff training programmesOversee rostering, scheduling, and on-call cover arrangementsOperations & ComplianceMaintain regulatory compliance across all aspects of service deliveryEnsure the overall smooth functioning of homecare servicesMonitor health and safety adherenceManage administrative functions efficientlyBusiness DevelopmentParticipate in the development and marketing of the companyContribute to tender and SLA submissionsUndertake other tasks as assigned to support the development and growth of the serviceRequirementsEssentialProven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a homecare agency or similar healthcare settingStrong planning, organisational, and time management skillsProven people and performance management abilitiesIn-depth knowledge of homecare regulations, policies, and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, for people management and tender/SLA submissionsStrong IT and system skills with good financial awarenessExcellent analytical and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyCompassionate, empathetic, and committed to providing high-quality care to clientsDesirableA bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social care/work, or a related fieldPrevious experience managing a team in a busy, dynamic environmentPlease Note: We are not in a position at this time to assist with work permit applications or to provide sponsorship for this position.Why Join Comfort Homecare?At Comfort Homecare, we recognise that our Team members are the foundation of everything we achieve.
