Then this could be the role for you.BCP Housing First supports individuals aged 18 and over, who have high support needs and a history of long term rough sleeping and homelessness. Our aim is to give them a home of their own, where they can regain stability, safety, and support. We work in partnership with BCP council and all support services within BCP, this helps us deliver a strength based, person-centred approach, creating a positive environment to help them sustain a home.Our dedicated team provides intensive one to one support to help our clients achieve their goals, everything we do is to coach and empower our clients to eventually achieve independent living.If you love working with people and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference in the lives of those you support, then this is the role for you!About The RoleAs our Homeless Recovery Worker, you will lead on the case management of clients and be part of a team that provides accommodation based and community support services to clients to keep them safe and help them achieve their goals. The role will provide people with homes and specialist support, so they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps.Further information:This role will require an Enhanced with Barred List(s) disclosure and barring service check is a requirement for this role. This would be completed on appointment of the roleThis role will require a full drivers’ licence and access to a vehicleThis role will require you to work flexibly across several sitesThis role will require you to work with clients on a one-to-one basisThis role will require you to work nights and/or weekendsThis role will require you to lone workAbout YouYou will have:Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenClear verbal and written EnglishGood keyboard skills for data inputtingGood working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and WordConfident and assertive mannerAbility to self-motivate as you will work on your ownEffective team workingAbility to respond calmly to crisisDeal promptly with and effectively react to challenging situationsHave an interest and genuine concern for homelessness and related issuesExperience of managing a caseload of clients along with of risk assessment and person-centred, outcomes-based delivery would be preferable although not essential.An understanding of the support needs of people experiencing homelessness or those with complex needs would also be beneficialWe reserve the right to close our adverts early if a successful candidate is found, so please submit your application as soon as possible.Two Saints is committed to safeguarding and safer recruitment.
