Hospitality Design Consultant – Kitchens & Bars

For over a decade, we’ve been shaping kitchens, bars, and venues that don’t just look great, they work beautifully.We’re now looking for a Design Consultant who shares our passion for intelligent design, operational efficiency, and exceptional hospitality experiences.About the RoleThis is not a desk-only position. You’ll be the face of Hexa Design as a consultant, designer, and project driver who understands how kitchens and bars truly operate.You’ll:Engage directly with chefs, bar managers, and venue owners to understand their workflow, vision, and commercial needs.Develop concept designs for kitchens, bars, and foodservice areas using Revit.Consult and present solutions that balance aesthetics, practicality, and budget.Collaborate with our drafting and documentation team to deliver detailed drawings for tender and construction.Manage RFIs, coordinate design adjustments, and ensure the design intent is carried through to completion.Actively identify new project opportunities and help drive business growth through relationships and referrals.Who You AreYou’re a hybrid of designer and consultant, someone who understands both the creative and operational side of hospitality design.You have:Solid knowledge of commercial kitchen and bar design, workflow, and equipment.Experience with hospitality projects, from cafes and restaurants to hotels and clubs.Proficiency in Revit (essential).Strong communication and consultation skills, you can talk business with owners and functionality with chefs.A sense of ownership and initiative, you enjoy leading projects, not just executing tasks.Ideally, some sales or business development confidence, able to present ideas and win trust.Why Join Hexa DesignWork alongside industry leaders shaping some of Australia’s most iconic venues.Be part of a creative, collaborative, and design-driven culture.Enjoy autonomy and support to grow your professional network and impact.Competitive package with performance incentives.Interested?If you’re ready to design the next generation of hospitality spaces, where efficiency meets creativity, we’d love to hear from you.Apply or message us directly on LinkedIn with your portfolio or recent project samples.
