Job DescriptionSummary-We are looking for a friendly and proactive Host/Hostess to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests. The Host/Hostess will greet guests, seat them, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.Job Responsibility- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant or event Seat guests according to seating chart and provide menus Take reservations over the phone and manage seating arrangements Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and lobby area Communicate effectively with the serving staff to ensure smooth serviceCandidate Requirements- Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or similar customer service role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Strong organizational skills Friendly and welcoming demeanorSkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong customer service skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Organizational skills to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently Multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Adaptability to different customer preferences and requests Knowledge of menu items and ability to make recommendations Up-selling skills to promote specials or additional menu items Team player mentality to work effectively with colleagues Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or issues
