Job Description

DescriptionBe the face of Hot Topic, Inc. ! We’re looking for a proactive, personable, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for guests and callers, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive and professional office environment. This position involves managing a high-volume call center, greeting visitors, and supporting various administrative functions across departments. This role operates onsite and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA 5 days a week. Pay range$16. 50 - $18.

50 an hourPlease note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training, and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.

What You’ll DoOperate Zoom computerized phone system and answer all incoming callsRelay incoming and inter-company calls promptly and professionallyGreet office visitors and monitor visitor logMaintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (employee badges, intercom system)Update calendars and schedule meetingsGenerate HQ name tags/badges as neededAssist in UPS, including but not limited to receiving, sorting, and delivering packagesAssist the travel department with arranging travel and accommodationsAssist the relocation department with relocating employeesAssist with various office/clerical duties as neededMeets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressurePerform other job duties as neededWhat You’ll NeedHigh School or equivalent1-2 years’ work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar roleBilingual a plusA dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughlyStrong communication skills include the ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback, and a solid verbal and written communicatorCompetency in computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and CanvaExperience with administrative and clerical proceduresRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, and lift/move up to 10 pounds.

May lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
