Job SummaryThe Hotel Contracting Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing competitive hotel rates and exclusive deals to strengthen the company’s market position in FIT and group segments. The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with hoteliers, ensuring up-to-date and compliant contract documentation, and implementing effective contracting strategies to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry, market dynamics, and have strong negotiation and analytical skills to drive growth and profitability.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and contract hotels across assigned destinations to ensure competitive pricing, flexible terms, and superior product offerings.Negotiate rates, room allocations, value-added benefits, and group promotions to achieve the company’s revenue and margin targets.Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with hoteliers, DMCs, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and continuous cooperation.Analyze market trends, competitor rates, and customer preferences to ensure the company’s offerings remain competitive and relevant.Conduct hotel visits and site inspections to evaluate quality, service standards, and compliance with contractual terms.Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to promote contracted hotels and special offers through various channels.Ensure all contract documentation, terms, and conditions are accurate, updated, and aligned with company policies and legal requirements.Monitor performance of contracted hotels to assess booking trends, performance metrics, and overall return on investment.Maintain a database of hotel contracts, contact details, and performance reports for management reference.Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure timely payments, reconciliations, and compliance with contract terms.Prepare periodic reports on contracting progress, market competitiveness, and budget achievement for management review.Support the development of contracting strategies, budgets, and annual rate plans for upcoming seasons.Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline contracting activities and ensure consistency across regions.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Competitive hotel contracts and pricing for both FIT and group segments.Increased hotel partnerships and exclusive promotions secured.Achievement of quarterly and annual contracting targets.Timely completion and renewal of hotel contracts.High satisfaction and retention rates among hotel partners.Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel contracting or tourism industry.Proven negotiation skills and experience dealing with hotels across different destinations.Strong understanding of travel trade dynamics, market competition, and rate structures.Excellent communication and relationship management skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Drive, and CRM/sales management systems.Ideal Candidate ProfileA well-connected professional with established hotel relationships.Highly organized and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability.Proactive in identifying market opportunities and securing advantageous deals.Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.Passionate about travel, hospitality, and building lasting partnerships.
