Sokoni Africa Limited is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Procurement Assistant to join our hospitality procurement team. In this role, you will support the procurement process specifically for hotel operations, ensuring that all necessary supplies and services are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively.ResponsibilitiesAssist in sourcing and procuring hotel supplies and services, including linens, furniture, and food & beverage productsMaintain up-to-date records of suppliers, contracts, and procurement transactionsProcess purchase orders and coordinate the timely delivery of goods to the hotelMonitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management within the hotel premisesCollaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and specificationsAssist in evaluating supplier performance and conducting market researchSupport the procurement team with administrative duties and reporting tasksRequirementsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldPrior experience in procurement or administrative roles, preferably in a hospitality setting, is an advantageStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement softwareAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
