Job Description

ResponsibilitiesAddress employee concerns, grievances, and disputes promptly.Ensure adherence to labor laws, employment standards, and regulatory requirements.Maintain statutory records (wages, attendance, leave, contracts)Handle inspections and audits from labor authoritiesAct as the primary liaison between management and unionsParticipate in collective bargaining negotiations.Manage union agreements, contracts, and implementation of settlements.Implement disciplinary procedures fairly and consistentlyCoordinate with legal advisors for disputes, court cases, and notices.Represent the organization in labor court or dispute resolution forums.Maintain accurate records of negotiations, disciplinary actions, and meetings.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in HR, Law, or related field.Experience working in manufacturing, plant, or factory environments.Prior exposure to union handling, disciplinary actions, and IR compliance.Hands-on experience with statutory audits and government inspections.Strong understanding of Labour Laws, Union relations and collective bargainingStrong communication & interpersonal skillsProblem-solving & decision-making skillsAbility to liaise with labor authorities, unions, and legal teamsProficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
