An incredible opportunity awaits! As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for administrating key HR processes supporting operations in the US and Canada. As a member of the HR team, reporting to the Regional HR Manager, you will collaborate with a group of experienced and high-performing professionals who are committed to fostering a safe, compliant, and inclusive workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate university and full-cycle recruitment processSupport immigration processes by preparing documentation, tracking visa statuses, and liaising with legal counsel and managementPromote fair and equitable HR processes while assisting managers with employee changes such as domestic and international transfers, promotions, pay adjustments etc.Guide managers and employees through effective performance managementAttends and participates in employee disciplinary meetingsAssist with offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and smooth transitionsRespond to inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and proceduresSupport other HR projects and tasks as neededAuthorityApprove and execute actions to reach HR objectivesApprove HR documentationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, other related field, or applicable experience2–3 years of experience in HR support roleLegally authorized to work in the United States without restrictionsKnowledge of US and Canadian labor laws strongly preferredAptitude to quickly learn the organizations HR systems (experience with Workday a plus)Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work autonomously with analytical and problem-solving skillsCollaborative verbal and written communicationExcellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityWork LocationNew Orleans (St. Rose), LAHybrid work schedule What We OfferCompetitive compensation packagesFully subsidized health & welfare benefits with an option of a high deductible plan which includes an employer contribution towards your health savings account.Fully subsidized dental and vision coverageUp to 5% employer match programFlexibility with Paid Time OffCareer growth opportunitiesSafe and collaborative cultureKongsberg Maritime is a technology pioneer, enabling a more sustainable future for our oceans.
