This is a strategic and hands-on role that combines talent acquisition, HR operations, and culture building in a global startup environment. The ideal candidate will have experience hiring across India and the U.S., a deep understanding of startup dynamics, and a passion for shaping people-first culture in a remote-first setup.Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & RecruitmentLead end-to-end recruitment for roles across India and the U.S., spanning tech, product, design, marketing, sales, and operations. Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates. Partner with founders and department heads to understand hiring needs and build scalable hiring processes. Manage job postings, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding. Build and maintain a strong employer brand presence on social media and professional platforms. HR Operations & ComplianceManage day-to-day HR operations — from onboarding to exit.Oversee payroll coordination, contracts, benefits, and compliance (India and U.S. entities).Maintain HR documentation and ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws.Set up HR systems, tools, and processes that support remote collaboration and productivity. Culture & EngagementWork closely with founders to define, articulate, and nurture Fincent's organizational culture in a remote-first environment. Create and implement employee engagement, recognition, and development programs. Foster a transparent, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture. Conduct regular check-ins, pulse surveys, and engagement initiatives to ensure a connected remote workforce. Strategy & GrowthPartner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational design. Contribute to building scalable HR frameworks for future expansion. Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across teams and geographies. Requirements8+ years of experience in HR and recruitment, with proven experience hiring in India and the U.S. Prior experience in fast-paced startups or early-stage companies is a must. Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, HR operations, and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across teams. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote-first, global environment. Familiarity with HR tools and ATS systems. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a people-first mindset.
