Our production facilities are equipped with modern technology and adhere to stringent quality, safety, and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:.Primary purpose: Manage all factory HR operations to ensure a compliant, engaged and productive workforce.Oversee end-to-end HR functions for the factory: recruitment, onboarding, attendance & shift management, payroll processing, statutory compliance, and employee exit.Day-to-day activities: maintain HRIS/employee records, review daily attendance and leave reports, approve payroll inputs, coordinate recruitment interviews, conduct induction and on-the-job training scheduling, and handle routine employee queries.Policy & performance management: implement and maintain HR policies, lead the performance appraisal cycle at the plant level, set performance objectives with line managers, and monitor improvement plans.Employee relations: manage disciplinary processes, investigate grievances, facilitate conflict resolution, and run engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.Compliance & liaison: ensure full compliance with Nepal labor laws and factory regulations; prepare for and manage statutory audits; maintain up-to-date labor documentation; and liaise with government bodies and labor inspectors.Talent & workforce planning: collaborate with production and HR leadership on headcount planning, contractor management, and succession planning; track recruitment metrics and maintain a candidate pipeline.Learning & development: identify skill gaps, implement targeted training programs, and track training completion and effectiveness for shop-floor and supervisory staff.Budgeting & reporting: manage HR-related budgets for the plant, prepare monthly HR reports for senior management, and present metrics and improvement plans.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Recruitment: Time-to-fill (average) and vacancy-to-hire ratio for plant roles.Retention: Attrition rate (overall and shop-floor) and success of retention initiatives.Payroll & compliance: Payroll accuracy (target 100%), timely statutory filings, and audit pass rate.Employee relations: Average grievance resolution time (target <7 days) and number of repeat disciplinary issues.Training: Training completion rate and measurable improvement in productivity or quality post-training.Stakeholders: Plant leadership, line managers, operations, finance, external labor authorities, and third-party contractors.Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field. 8–12 years’ HR experience, with at least 5 years in manufacturing/industrial setups. Excellent knowledge of Nepal labor laws, payroll systems, and HR best practices.
