The role As an HR Officer based in our HQ in Rotterdam, you are part of the HR team and play a key role in supporting our People Managers. You ensure that HR processes run smoothly and are continuously improved — from recruitment and onboarding to employee administration and reporting. What success looks like The HR admin in NL runs reliably with clear checklists, standard documents, and on-time payroll inputs You’ve simplified and harmonized core processes and reduced manual rework/time spent You propose and help implement practical improvements (templates, SOPs, FAQs, mini-policies) that create space in your own workweek and for the team. You contribute to the global HR system implementation (data cleansing, UAT testing, documentation, training materials) so adoption is smooth. Managers and employees experience faster, consistent service and clear communication. HR data is accurate and reporting is delivered on time each month. Key responsibilities Support people managers with day-to-day HR queries and administrative processes. Handle HR administration, including: Processing employee changes and maintaining personnel files (GDPR-proof). Preparing employment contracts, letters, and other HR documents. Creating HR reports and analyses (headcount, joiners/leavers, absence). Coordinate the recruitment process, such as: Managing incoming applications and forwarding candidates. Scheduling interviews and conducting initial candidate screenings. Supporting onboarding activities and administrative follow-up. Drive continuous improvement and harmonization of HR processes across Europe (templates, SOPs, checklists, FAQs). Draft or update practical HR policies and guidance notes in alignment with the HR Operations Lead. Collaborate closely with colleagues from Finance, Payroll, and IT to ensure accurate HR data processing and timely payroll inputs. Support the implementation of the new global HR system (data quality, testing, training support, go-live readiness). What you bring A completed MBO/HBO (Bachelor’s) degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international HR environment. Excellent command of Dutch and English. Experience with HR systems and confident with Excel/Word and other digital tooling; curiosity to learn new tools. A proactive, structured, and service-oriented attitude. Strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
