We provide medical professionals with worldwide support, so together we can improve patients' quality of care.Our headquarters is in Leiden, but over the years we have established subsidiaries and branch offices in the USA, Japan, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, as well as distributors and local agents in multiple countries.About the RoleHR Generalist - Interim Coverage (6-Month Contract)We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to provide interim coverage for a 6-month period, with the possibility of extension thereafter. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for employees across our offices in the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, the USA, France, and the UK, ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations throughout our global organization.You'll oversee the full range of HR activities - from onboarding and employment contracts to leave administration, employee relations, and policy implementation - while helping to foster a workplace culture that is compliant, people-focused, and engaging.This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and enjoys both hands-on operational work and continuous process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee life-cycle administration.Prepare and maintain employment contracts, maintain personnel files, and other HR documentation.Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related queries, providing clear guidance and support.Coordinate and track sick leave, vacation requests, and related reporting.Support immigration (IND) and 30% ruling applications for international employees.Ensure HR compliance and maintain accurate employee data across all HR systems.Partner with payroll, finance, and management to ensure seamless HR operations.Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as needed.RequirementsYou're an all-round HR professional who enjoys combining hands-on administration with people-centered support. You thrive in a dynamic, international environment where accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork are key. With a strong eye for detail and a proactive approach, you ensure HR processes run smoothly from start to finish.3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced, international organization.Solid understanding of HR administration, employment contracts, contractor arrangements, and Dutch labor law; familiarity with other European jurisdictions is a plus.Experience with HR processes in one or more of the following countries: UK, France, Germany, Japan, or the USA (in addition to strong knowledge of Dutch HR practices).Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.A collaborative mindset, genuine curiosity, and a hunger to learn, grow, and make continuous improvements - both personally and within the organization.
