The HR Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational support to the HR department. The role involves the full spectrum of operational employee lifecycle management, including contract and document management, benefits administration, onboarding support for the organization, payroll preparation, employee inquiries, and other HR-related tasks. This includes task management for both our German and our international locations. You will work in a supportive team to balance tasks, while also having the opportunity to take ownership of certain areas to improve processes and develop your own skill set.The applike group is committed to creating engaging experiences for every app user around the world. Boost your career with awesome people!What you will do:Manage and maintain our full document & contract management, ensuring consistent and compliant documentsHandle and resolve Tier-1 and 2 employee inquiries, e.g., regarding contracts, policy, payroll, and systems, ensuring high-quality resolutionExecute a streamlined operational onboarding experience, ensuring legal compliance and cross-functional process alignmentOwn the full range of employee data and documents in our HRISAct as primary contact for our monthly payroll preparation and validation process, taking ownership of the document and information gathering, as well as a communication and escalation point with our external payroll providerOversee and administer our absence management and employee benefitsIdentify and support / execute process improvements aimed at optimizing HR operational efficiency and driving automationOwn and audit HRIS data integrity and system configuration to ensure the HR system is the single, accurate source of truthWho you are:Experience: 3+ years of relevant HR administration/operations experienceEducation: Completed HR-related commercial apprenticeship or a university degree (e.g., Business Administration/HR)Solid knowledge of employment contracts, onboarding processes, and HR systemsStrong organizational skills, accuracy, a feeling of ownership, and a structured approach to workStrong communication skills and a team-player mentalityProficient handling of HR systems (Personio would be a plus) and data maintenanceAbility to independently resolve more complex employee inquiriesWillingness to actively participate in projects for the further development of the HR functionEnglish and German language skills at level B2 or aboveFuel for the Journey: Benefits to Support Your AmbitionsInvest in Your Future: Regular feedback and our development program support your growth, helping you expand your skill set and achieve your career goals.Easy Arrival to applike: From signing to settling in Hamburg, we’ve got you covered.
