A Day in the Life Payroll & Commission SupportBe the first point of contact for sales commission queriesRespond to payroll and commission questions professionally and promptlyAssist with payroll data entry, validation, and reconciliationSupport commission calculations, reviews, and troubleshootingMaintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure data integrityLiaise with internal teams to resolve discrepanciesSupport the administration of incentive structuresAssist the Finance team in validating pay runs and accounting dataHuman Resources SupportAssist with HR administration, onboarding/offboarding, and employee documentationRespond to HR-related queries around policies, entitlements, and general staff infoSupport training, compliance activities, and broader HR projectsMaintain confidential HR files and databasesAssist with WHS documentation, compliance tracking, and reportingData, Systems & AnalyticsMaintain and update spreadsheets, logs, and performance tracking documentsUse Airtable and Google Sheets to manage workflows and reporting dashboardsAnalyse HR, payroll, and commission data to identify trends or improvementsPrepare reports and summaries for managementCollaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Sales, Operations, and ITProvide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and resource allocationAbout You:2+ years experience in payroll, finance, HR support, or commission analysisStrong understanding of Australian payroll legislation & Fair Work requirementsExperience with payroll systems (Xero, HeroPay) and CRMs (Salesforce preferred)Excellent Excel/Google Sheets abilities and strong data analysis skillsExperience processing or reviewing sales commissions/incentive plansTo be a front running candidate:Experience with Airtable for workflow/databasesExperience with Make (Integromat) or other automation toolsExperience with HR, payroll, or WHS systemsExposure to analytics tools (Power BI, Sheets, Looker Studio, etc.)Understanding of basic WHS complianceWhy Join Smart Energy?
