Description HR Administrator – CR&R Incorporated Position SummaryThe HR Administrator at CR&R Inc supports the HR team by handling key administrative HR functions across a multi-site, operations-based workforce. This role ensures HR data integrity, manages onboarding and offboarding, supports benefits and leave administration, and serves as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries. The HR Administrator helps the HR department run efficiently and maintains compliance across all HR processes.Key Responsibilities Employee Records & Compliance Maintain and update personnel files in compliance with state and federal regulations. Ensure accurate and timely documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance tracking. Prepare HR documents, letters, and employee communications. Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinate new-hire onboarding processes, including paperwork, orientations, and system setup. Ensure all required documentation is completed and properly filed. Support offboarding processes such as exit documentation, system access removal, and final file updates. Benefits Administration Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations. Respond to employee benefit questions and help resolve issues with carriers. Track eligibility, maintain related records, and assist during open enrollment. Leaves of Absence Support LOA processes including FMLA, CFRA, ADA accommodations, and workers’ comp-related leave. Coordinate communication between employees, managers, and HR team members. Track leave dates, documentation, and return-to-work requirements. HRIS & Payroll Support Maintain HRIS accuracy by processing changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Assist with timekeeping or payroll-related issues by verifying HR data and corrections. Run basic HR reports and assist with data audits. Workers’ Compensation & Safety Support Assist with workers’ compensation, claim documentation and communication. Coordinate modified duty and return-to-work steps with HR and Safety teams. Maintain injury documentation logs as needed. Administrative & Employee Support Serve as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general inquiries. Provide administrative support to HR team members including scheduling, documentation, and communications. Assist with tracking training, compliance courses, and employee certifications. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. 1–4 years of HR experience in industrial, transportation, or multi-site environments preferred. Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail. Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws and confidentiality standards. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
